Reading the day tiles in the journal

At the top of the journal, the navigation strip shows one tile per day. Under the date, up to three small coloured stars sum up what you logged that day.

Three stars, three types of entry

  • Purple star — at least one food was logged in the journal that day.
  • Red star — at least one cardio activity was logged that day.
  • Yellow star — at least one strength training session was logged that day.

The stars that appear always sit in the same order — food, cardio, strength — and only when the matching entry exists. A day with no star at all is a day where nothing has been logged yet.

What it's for

It's a quick visual cue: at a glance, across the whole week, you see which days are complete and which still need filling in, without opening each one. Handy for keeping a routine — progress toward your weekly activity goals is tracked inProgress.

On the other views

In Progress, the weekly and monthly views only show the purple star (a meal was logged): the activity type isn't tracked day by day there.

Frequently asked questions

Why did a star disappear?

A star only shows while at least one entry of that type remains for the day. Delete the last food of the day and the purple star goes; same for the last cardio or strength activity.

Does the number of stars depend on quantities?

No. A star means "at least one entry of that type". Three meals or one give the same purple star; two cardio sessions, the same red star.
