Why track your weight over time

A single day's weight doesn't say much: it moves with water, salt, digestion and sleep. What matters is the trend over several weeks. By recording your weigh-ins, Nurimoa smooths out those swings and shows you whether you're moving forward, plateauing or need to adjust — without turning a temporary bump into a crisis.

Record your weight and measurements

Beyond weight, you can log your waist, hips or other measurements. That's often where progress shows first — especially when the scale stalls while body composition keeps changing. The charts stay deliberately simple: one curve, one period, the essentials.

A calorie goal based on your target weight

Nurimoa doesn't apply an arbitrary "minus 500 kcal". It calculates the calorie needs of your target weight and gives them to you as a goal starting now. By eating for the body you're aiming for, the deficit settles in on its own, at a sustainable pace.

Combined with your diary and activities

Weight tracking makes the most sense next to the food diaryand workout logging: you line up what you&bg eat, what you burn and how the curve moves, to understand what actually works for you.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I weigh myself?

The most useful approach is to weigh yourself regularly, under the same conditions (for example in the morning before eating), and look at the weekly average rather than each number. Daily or weekly both work — consistency matters more than frequency.

Is weight tracking free?

Yes. The free plan shows your weight trend over 30 days. Premium adds unlimited history and week, month and year comparisons.

Does Nurimoa put me on a diet?

No. There's no aggressive deficit. Nurimoa calculates the calorie needs of your target weight and gives them to you as a goal: weight comes off gradually, with no forced restriction.

Why does my weight go up from one day to the next?

Weight shifts every day with water retention, salt, fibre, the previous day’s activity or your hormonal cycle. Those swings are not fat: only the trend over several weeks reflects a real change.
